The first step in setting up the e-mail is to choose your e-mail address name.

The e-email address you choose is personalised – except for the domain part of the address and it will be displayed as:

(your-chosen-name@justmail.za.net).

As example you could use your name and the first digit of your surname – eg. the e-mail address for John Bottinger could be johnb@justmail.za.net – as your e-mail address. Should there be more than one “johnb’s we will add a 1 or a 2 to make the address unique.

Pico

Pico is a very light weight- only 54kb!! In order to use it, you have to select “Pref” which opens the setting. Enter Pico IP address: 193.189.186.20) and own user name and password.

Download from the link below, unzip and then install.

Registrations of new users and password changing are now done automatically by Picophone. It is not necessary to register on the picoserver anymore. When you type a username and password in Picophone, a new account will be automatically created, if the chosen username is not already in use. Password can be changed by simply typing a different password in Picophone preferences after a successful logon.

I found best results with HQ gain and 10 db mic and 10 db out gain unchecked. Remember to “Tune” to get the best results.
